Soaking Up September: Refreshing Plant-Based Drinks to Transition Your Palate

by CeeCee | Sep 9, 2026 | Health, Hormonal Nutrition, Recipes

As you read this blog, I am taking a short little break on an island, soaking up the last of the summer (figuring I might as well enjoy a late-summer holiday!) before it fades away until next year. While I’m away, I’m also deep in planning our next event… “A Pause of Hope.” – Discount Code: HBHP5

Since my operation, I’ve been taking each season as it comes, learning new recipes that heal my inner soul and support my nutritional health overall. Being away this time around, I got introduced to some brand new refreshing drinks and of course, Cee just had to add her own little twist to them! I love testing things out, putting my own spin on them, and sharing the results with you lovelies.

Going from the summer heat into autumn can feel a bit depressing, but Cee has her ways of longing out that feeling. We want to keep it feeling like you’re still sitting on a summer beach, with the heat soaking deep into your body.

As we slide into September, us women always have to keep our inflammation low as the seasons change. Staying hydrated with antioxidant-rich, plant-based drinks helps support our livers in processing excess estrogen, which is a major focus for natural fibroid management.

3 Cee-Approved Drinks to Keep That Summer Feeling Alive

The Island-Inspired Turmeric & Berry Cooler

The Island-Inspired Turmeric & Berry Cooler

Cee’s Twist: While traveling, I tasted a drink heavy on local berries and bright spices. Back home, I added a heavy pinch of black pepper and organic turmeric to elevate it into a true hormone-balancing powerhouse.

Hibiscus Mint “Sun-Seeker” Mocktail

Hibiscus Mint Sun-Seeker Mocktail

Cee’s Twist: I took the tart, vibrant flavor of traditional hibiscus tea and paired it with freshly muddled cucumber and crushed mint to mimic that luxurious resort mocktail vibe without any of the heavy sugar.

Creamy Green Mango-Matcha Reviver

Creamy Green Mango-Matcha Reviver

Cee’s Twist: Instead of a heavy morning coffee that can spike cortisol, I blended tropical frozen mango with earthy matcha and a generous scoop of hemp seeds to create a velvety texture that tastes like pure vacation.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Frozen Mango Chunks
  • 1 Handful of Baby Spinach
  • 1 Tsp Matcha Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Hemp Seeds (Plant based protein & healthy fats)
  • 1 Cup Unsweetened Coconut Milk (other alternatives milks)

  • Fine-Mesh Strainer (Tea Infuser)
  • Matcha Whisk (Electric Milk Frother)
  • Tall Drinking Glasses & Reusable Straws

Method

  1. Add the unsweetened almond milk to your blender first (this helps prevent the powder from sticking to the blades).
  2. Add the ceremonial-grade matcha powder, baby spinach, frozen mango chunks, and hemp seeds.
  3. Blend on high for 45 to 60 seconds until completely creamy, smooth, and vibrant green.
  4. Pour into your favorite glass, optionally top with a pinch of extra hemp seeds, and enjoy your calm, clean morning energy!

Why it works for us: Hemp seeds bring those essential fatty acids we need for gentle hormone regulation, and matcha delivers calm, sustained energy to tackle your day without the crash.

Just because the calendar says September doesn’t mean we have to pack away our summer mindset just yet. Take a moment for yourself today, whip up one of these refreshing plant-based drinks, and let’s transition into the cooler months feeling grounded, nourished, and cared for.
